Posters and campaign graphics

One look, one message, carried across every size the campaign needs.

Start with the key visual

A campaign works best when it has one key visual: a main image or graphic, a headline style and a color rule that people learn to recognize. We design that first, usually on the largest poster size, because a design that holds up big will scale down. Then we adapt it to each format instead of shrinking it.

Formats in a typical campaign

PieceWhat changes
Large posterFull key visual, headline, short supporting line, call to action
Flyer or handoutSame look, more room for details on the back
Social imagesSquare and vertical crops, larger type, fewer words
Window or yard signHeadline and logo only, readable from a distance
BannerWide layout, the key visual moved to one side

Readable at a distance

Posters are read from across a room or a street. We set headline sizes for the viewing distance you describe, keep contrast high, and avoid thin type over busy images. If a piece will hang outdoors, tell us; weather, glare and distance all change what works.

Files you get

Print-ready PDFs for each size, built to your printer's specs, plus web and social versions. On request we also send editable templates for pieces your team will update later, such as event dates.

Questions

Can our team edit the flyers later?

Yes. Ask for editable templates in the brief, and tell us which software your team uses. Some formats edit well in common tools, others are better kept as finished files.

Do you write the headlines?

We can suggest options and edit your draft for length and rhythm. For a big campaign, a copywriter's input is worth having.
